Begoña Fernández Corbalán is born and raised in Calasparra, a small town in Murcia, Spain. As a child she loved watching and listening the stories of her older sisters. She considers this to be the reason she studied Fine Arts at the University of Murcia.
Begoña has four years of experience, working as an illustrator, during which she has done illustrations for children‘s books and advertising. During this time she discovered that listening to soundtracks while drawing, helps her relax and get inspired.
Currently, Begoña is more interested in digital illustration, although she still occasionally works with coloured pencils and gouache. Her work stands
out with a very definite style – quite realistic, but never losing the fantasy. Maybe that's why her work is almost always directed at children and youth.View Full Bio
