Christine Tappin is a children’s illustrator represented by Advocate art, illustration agency. Christine has been interested in art for a long time, she used to love to watch Art Attack when she was younger, and went on to study Fine Art, painting and printmaking.
Her work is bright and colourful with lots of textures. She often tries to go for a whimsical feel, and adds buttons and sequins for a 3D effect. Christine creates all of her work on the computer and occasionally works with acrylics and watercolour pencils. Her favourite piece is her ‘frog reading on a lily pad’, which reminds her of lazy Sunday afternoons.
Christine has only ever wanted to be an artist and she thinks she has the best job in the world!
