I am a Finnish fine art photographer living and working in a small countryside town called Ylojarvi. Photography to me is like playing as a child! Everyday is an adventure. It is my biggest passion and one reason for that is my father whose hobby it was even before I was born and that’s quite a long time ago!
When I’m taking photos there are no ages or years, my heart will be year after year, younger and I´m sure I’ll photograph even more when I’m older.
I’m an addict of natural light and my camera is like my third eye. With it I try to catch vivid lights and glorious colours from my various subjects.
I find it very interesting to look at a little more closer and to see the textures and details you might normally miss. Flowers, gardens, blossoming trees, ice, man-made materials and of course my family inspires and fascinates me a lot. I try to capture all of this in my photographic work.
For me photography is an ongoing passionate and creative journey that always manages to teach me something I thought I already knew.
My motto is “life needs more colour, joyful smiles and touch!”
That’s why I find art licensing an exceedingly interesting field for my photos. I love seeing my images on objects people use in their daily lives.
I love also digital retouching and for the last two years I’ve been teaching children and teenagers in this field.
