Advocate Art is thrilled to announce that one of our fantastic children's book illustrators, Erica Salcedo, has been featured in The Guardian!  Kid Normal, written by Greg James and Chris Smith and illustrated by our very own Erica Salcedo, has been named as one of the "best new picture books and novels."  This adventurous book, perfect for children 8 and up, takes you on a journey with protagonist, Murph Cooper, as he navigates the hallways of his new school (a school for superheroes!) which is anything but normal.  The creative tale, illustrated in imaginative black and white line drawings, will be sure to make you laugh and teach you what it means to be a hero. The Guardian says, "Playful prose...,amusingly surreal super-powers and a trust-yourself message combine to a strong effect with Erica Salcedo's entertaining, hugh-eyed images."  Be sure to check out the full article here.
