Advocate Art is excited to announce that a new artist agent has joined the team!  Courtney Walls, originally from Miami, FL, studied Art and Art History at Washington College.  Upon graduating she interned at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. where she workd under the supervision of the Senior Historian, assisting in the planning of future exhibitions.  After leaving D.C., Courtney embarked on an exciting adventure, selling art aboard cruise ships.  "I absolutely love art and traveling so it was a really great opportunity to be able to combine my two passions," she said of her experience.

Now having settled into Brookly, she has joined the Advocate Art New York team, fusing her knowledge of art, travel and sales to help Advocate expand the American market.  "I'm quite excited about being part of this team," she said, "It's almost serendipitous in how I found my way to this point! I'm very excited to assist in expanding Advocate's American presence."

Some of Courtney's childhood favorite American classic books include Shel Silverstein's Where the Sidewalk Ends, Don Freeman's Corduroy, and Berkeley Breathed's Goodnight Opus

She's excited to be with Advocate and eager to see what opportunities await her!
