"Thanos was born in June 1977 in Athens, Greece.  He originally graduated from school as a graphic artists but his passion for drawing was so strong that it led him back to school where he studied illustration and 2D animation.  As a freelance artist in a small country, Thanos developed varying styles in order to appeal to many client bases.  He has worked in realistic illustration, cartoon illustration, 2D animation, game art, advertising art, and children's book illustration (which he likes most of all!). He personally loves drawing stylised characters that are semi-realistic with a cartoony sense of exaggeration as well as classic buildings and historical settings. Thanos' art represents a good knowledge of the fundamentals of art: structure, anatomy, perspective and colour theory.  He believes a good artist must exercise their style throughout his/her career.  Fashion comes and goes, styles can be developed, but if you don't have a strong grip of the fundamentals as an artist you are sooner or later doomed!"
