Watch out world, here comes Javiera Maclean Alvarez, a Chilean children's book illustrator who has a strong passion for changing the world through her art!  Javiera recently joined Advocate Art and is excited to take on new work!  She is able to work both traditionally and digitally, making her portfolio and capabilities quite versatile.  The softness of her characters matched with vibrant colors makes Javiera's illustrations perfect for children ages 0-5.  Her work is quirky yet cute and incorporates both people characters and animal characters.  To see more work by Javiera, be sure to check out her online Advocate artist portfolio and don't forget to reach out to an Advocate agent if you're interested in working with Javiera.

"I lived in the south of Chile for almost all of my childhood.  I now live and work in Santiago, but everything can change.  I am a self-taught artist, but I believe in the power of practice and I also like to use illustration as a voice to raise awareness and make a better world. My style is total versatile and colorful.  I often use digital illustration but i also like the touch of drawing on paper, especially for children's illustration.  Also, if i wasn't an artist/illustrator i would be a multimillionaire traveler!"
