Have a look at this gorgeous illustrated children's book published by scottish publisher Picture Kelpies, an imprint of Floris Books. The illustrations were produced by freelance illustrator Claire Keay, whose watercolour illustrations capture the scottish village setting perfectly.

The book tells the story of a day in a traditional scottish village full of interesting characters. The people of the village are up to all sorts of activities and getting into all sorts of scrapes, whilst using colloquial scottish words, which young and grown-up readers a like will love learning!
