"Born and still living in Whitby, following a 26 year career in communications Christine’s first midlife crisis in 1997 resulted in her resigning, selling her home and buying a gallery to sell her paintings. Having previously been taught all the answers that she needed by her mentor William Dealtry, it then took years of painting to discover the questions. She sold the gallery after a successful eleven years to concentrate exclusively on her own work.

Painting in both oil and watercolour, her ‘impressionistic’ pictures are usually completed on location summer or winter, she has a particular love of painting snow.

Locations include the UK, Europe, Russia, Australia and New Zealand

Christine writes articles for ‘Leisure Painter’ magazine and has published a book on the Victorian artist George Weatherill.

Exhibitions include, The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Eton College and Henley Royal Regatta, she has also appeared in a Sky television documentary."
