Sophie Hanton's Sneaky Spinach featured on Sparkling in Second! Jul 18 2017Samples and spotted
It cannot be overstated how important nutrition is for growing children, so we're so excited that Sophie Hanton's new illustrated book, Sneaky Spinach, is getting the attention it deserves! Published by Nekter Juice Bar and authored by Alexis Schulze, this story features a little boy who does NOT like spinach - in fact, he only likes junk food! His mother sees the need for her son to get proper nutrients, so she slowly starts sneaky in spinach to his daily smoothies, adding a little more each time until the boy starts feeling much stronger and healthier!
Jen from Sparkling in Second writes about how she loves this concept. As a second grade teacher in California Jen often sees children eating unhealthy lunches (as kids can sometimes be picky!). She thinks it's a great introduction to healthy eating and the benefits of having your veggies. Interested in knowing more?
