"Laura was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1988. She attended Rhode Island School of Design where she studied illustration and graduated in 2010. After graduating, Laura worked as a surface designer for Dansko outside of Philadelphia. She had the opportunity to be a buyer and visit trade shows in New York. During this time she realized she wanted to be on the other side of licensing artwork. Laura took a job for a small papergoods company in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where she created graphics for greeting cards and managed their wedding invitation line.Laura now works as a freelance artist, focusing most of her energy on wedding invitations and personal work.  As evidenced from her clean, simple, and colourful work, Laura is always keeping an eye on the latest trends, especially when it comes to color. She loves to draw figures and faces and prefers to focus on seasonal themes and incorporate elements of nature into her work.

She loves the city and the country, so she can't really say which she prefers - it all depends on her mood.  Laura loves living in downtown Lancaster, a small city surrounded by beautiful farmland.  She would say that the farm culture and her Pennsylvania German heritage has definitely influenced her work. In fact, she thinks she would've been a farmer if she hadn't been an artist! Laura happily shares a home with her husband, Alex and her two kitties — Gouda and Porkchop."
