Meet the artists

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that children's book illustrator, Judit Frigola has recently signed with us at Advocate Art!  Her colorful style is upbeat and oftentimes funny, as she incorporates quirky characters and unexpected details.  Judit's illustration work is fantastic for children ages 5 and up.  Be sure to check out more children's illustration by Judit on her online Advocate artist portfolio! She can't wait to see what 2018 brings so if you have a book project in mind for her, don't hesitate to reach out to us!

"Born in Figueres, in the north of Catalonia, on a full moon night of 1985, it was difficult for Judit to choose between becoming a judge or a chemist, so she opted for her great passion – illustration. Trained in graphic design at Eina Escola of Art and Design in Barcelona, Judit later specialized in children's illustration at La Llotj, where everything became clear to her. Or almost everything!

She uses a cunning, crafted and colorful style that mutates and adapts. Among other things, she has illustrated children’s stories, magazines, textbooks and any other fun projects that have crossed her path. She currently lives and works in her native Empordà. When somebody calls her to head up a new illustration project, she jumps up and dances in a way you’ve never seen and her cat looks at her in a funny way! When she is not at the studio, you can find Judit dancing Lindy hop or reading books in her bookstore."

Judit Frigola was discovered by our New York City based illustration agency.  Her work is suitable for children's books for kids aged 5 and up.  You can see more of her work on her online Advocate Art illustration portfolio.
