She is based out West so give her a call, she would love to visit you.
We asked her a few questions about her role below:
Why did you become an Illustration agent?
I have a passion for art and design and how it can enhance individual and group experiences, as well as the places in which it is displayed, whether in print or in the built environment. As an Illustration Agent, I feel that I'm uniquely placed to ensure that the best combination of art and idea can be achieved.
I loved my previous role as a Creative Design Manager, but I knew I wanted to develop and expand my experience working with a wide variety of artists and publications, bridging the gap between artist and client.
What do you love most about the role?
I have the honour of working with a fantastic bunch of people and I enjoy being part of exciting and creative projects. I'm particularly looking forward to helping to develop artists' portfolios and being involved in their creative process.
What do you hope to accomplish here at Advocate?
I have always been very interested in children's book illustration and I would love to expand my knowledge of the wider world of publishing. Matching the correct artist to the correct brief and helping to guide a project through from initial ideas to a final publication is an exciting prospect!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love being creative when I can, spending time with my family, I have two kids who keep me very busy! I also love to dance and I'm part of the Lindy Hop dance scene. You'll also be likely to find me roaming around antique and vintage shops!
