Debbie grew up on a farm in Australia, with 300 Angora goats and a menagerie of other animals, including at one stage 5 cats and 4 dogs. Dinnertime for her was a little bit like the running of the bulls! She loved being in the country, but moved to Melbourne to study fine art and design. Her favourite adventure was living in London for six years, where she met so many people from different parts of the world and was lucky enough to travel to many beautiful places in the UK and other countries.
Debbie's illustrations show flowers from Monet's garden, Egyptian temples, Byron's house, Madeira's flower festival, and Beatrix Potter's Cottage. She loves to create unique Mixed media designs to create the hand drawn and
digital illustrations with lots of colour and texture included. She is constantly inspired by nature and loves to pottery and look for flowers and leaves to draw.
After 20 years of experience as a graphic designer specializing in retail and illustration for household goods, Debbie has endless joy in creating concepts for greeting cards and surface design.
She is very grateful to Advocate Art for all the support and for giving her the opportunity to present her workView Full Bio
