Felicia Whaley is an Oak Park, IL based freelance Illustrator. She always had a passion and gift for drawing. She quit her job as a pharmacy technician and went on to study at the Illinois Art Institute of Chicago. Graduating with a BFA in illustration and design in 2016. It was there she found a love for children’s books. Color and imagination what more can an illustrator ask for. Creating diverse characters; that she never really saw as a child is what makes it all the more enjoyable. Most of her work is done digitally but she still uses a pencil.
