bank holiday postcards from advocate Aug 27 2013
NewsWe all had busy weekend's here at Advocate over the Bank Holiday and thought we would share the adventures of Advocate's team. It seems as though theme parks are popular, with Kate visiting the big Mouse himself in Disneyland Paris - hope you didn't get too wet Kate! Angelika and Dean have also chosen a theme park, heading North to Alton Towers - they look a bit scared on that ride! Dave has found himself a great bargain in the sales with this luxurious sofa, whilst Hannah is a little less comfortable camping in a muddy field in Leeds - good thing Eminem was there to save the day! Natasha has been up to Notting Hill Carnival trying some Jerk Chicken, whilst just down the road Lesley and Patch enjoyed the lovely weather in London also with a lovely walk with the family in the park. Sian and John Paul have also been with there friends and family this weekend, Sian attending birthdays, Weddings and BBQ's - and John Paul an Agricultural show (although we have been assured this is a cover up for activities that would breach National Security should we be informed of them). We are all jealous of Debbie's Warner Leisure trip away, Swimming, Cycling, Archery and Themed evenings sounds a great weekend break to us! Whilst Clare has managed to out do us all on the fitness front, but completing a 2k swim around a lake and a run on Norbury hill – although we have been told that it was in aid of working off the lovely big curry! Pat also had an active weekend conquering the heights of the Golden Cap in Dorset.
Lastly, Ed and Caroline are enjoying the sun with the boys this week - last week before the schools get back - enjoying some games with the Volleyball! Laura and Lauren are still away at the moment.
We hope you have had great weekends too and great Summer's in general!
