“Sophie Rohrbach is a French based artist, who was born in Strasbourg in 1978. She began her career (initially in window display design) after graduation from the Chambre des Commerces. From there she went on to design many displays for top department stores, such as Galeries Lafayette. She also studied illustration at Emile Cohl in Lyon, where she learned animation as well as traditional techniques. She is passionate about color and pattern, which she incorporates into her pieces. She primarily works digitally but tries to mix and match paper (and anything that she can get her hands on). Her client list includes publishers such as Pan Macmillan, Oxford Unversity Press and many others.
Rohrbach now resides near Paris in a country house; when she’s not illustrating she loves tending to her garden.”
