Xareni Ramirez is a Mexican-American illustrator and designer based in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation. After graduating, Xareni tried to start her career in animation but instead found so much joy in illustration work! She has worked on a variety of projects including background paintings, murals, product design and illustrations. Xareni mostly works digitally and always tries to find ways of creating simple, interesting, and new designs that communicate intriguing stories. In her free time, Xareni likes to stay active by weightlifting, running, and going on walks around her block and at the beach.
