Alejandra was born in Guanajuato, Mexico in July 1984. At a very young age her grandmother gave her a book by the painter and illustrator Carl Larsson, this awakened her interest in art. She completed her degree in Fine Arts at Guanajuato University. Since then she has been working on individual and collective projects and illustrating magazines and children's books. Her work is colourful with many details. Alejandra likes to draw people, animals, and landscapes. She has experimented with various materials such as graphite, gouache and oil, but she feels quite comfortable working on digital illustration at the moment.
