A n n a ’s c r e a t i v i t y s t a r t e d y o u n g w h e n s h e was seen on the ultrasound holding a pencil in the womb. She graduated with a first-class degree in Illustration from The University of Lincoln in 2017 and has been pursuing her passion for illustration ever since. Anna mainly works digitally although often inks her illustrations traditionally using fineliners or brush pens. She strives to create a warm and playful feeling in her work and characters that the audience can connect with. Her childhood illustration heroes include Tove Jansson and Hergé whose work is still an inspiration to her today. W h e n s h e i s n ’t i l l u s t r a t i n g A n n a t u t o r s c h i l d r e n i n English, in the past this has allowed her to live abroad in Spain and Norway.
