Born in Figueres, in the north of Catalonia, on a full moon night of 1985, it was difficult for Judit to choose between becoming a judge or a chemist, so she opted for her great passion–drawing–and with it, illustration. Trained in graphic design at Eina Escola of Art and Design in Barcelona, Judit later specialized in illustration at La Llotj, where everything became clear to her. Or almost everything.
She uses a cunning, crafted and colorful style that mutates and adapts. Among other things, she has illustrated children’s stories, magazines, textbooks and any other interesting proposals that have crossed her path, especially when it has to do with children or youth. She currently lives and works in her native Empordà. When somebody calls her to head up a new project, she jumps up and dances in a way you’ve never seen. Every time. Her cat looks at her in a funny way. When she is not at the studio, you can find Judit dancing Lindy hop or reading and labeling books in her bookstore. She knows, it sounds great.
