Lu Andrade is an illustrator from Ecuador, currently based in the mountains of Quito. She has studied a little bit of everything, from cinematography to graphic design. After focusing on digital animation for four years, she decided to start illustrating and little by little fell in love with children's illustration. Although she has experimented with a variety of mediums that attracted her curiosity, Lu mostly works digitally. For her, taking the bus or just walking around the city is an entire adventure that inspires her to create illustrations, and come up with new and fun characters. Lu has two cats. One is her raw bread called Pepinillo and her toasted bread Berlin, who keep her company most of the time.
