Paul Hammond

I'm available! I'd love to hear about your project.
Paul G. Hammond is a Canadian artist, illustrator, and comic creator working from his home in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Born in 1980, Paul grew up in Owen Sound and London, Ontario, before moving to Halifax to attend NSCAD, where he graduated with an interdisciplinary BFA in Fine Art, in 2005. Paul cut his teeth designing and screen-printing gig posters, and has dabbled in bands, background design for animation, anaglyphic 3D art, and even creature props. Illustration, however, has remained his primary focus, with recent illustrated children's books including Gary the Seagull (2020) and The Terrible, Horrible, Smelly Beach, published in July 2022. Music and nature inspire him, and he loves humming along to The Beatles while drawingView Full Bio
