I was born in Seattle, WA in 1995 and have been there since - though I dream of travelling and living in other countries! I currently have a puppy named Olive and I live with her in the city. I am a character designer, visual development artist, and illustrator. I graduated with a BFA in 2017 from DigiPen institute of technology. Since then, I think I’ve been able to focus my art more to what I enjoy and what I’m passionate about. I love color and I try to incorporate it into everything, from my art to my clothes, to the furniture in my apartment! I would describe my art as fun and having lots of character.
I always knew I would have to do something creative as a career - I’d probably go crazy doing anything else! I can’t imagine not making art everyday! As a child I was always drawing or painting. My initial inspiration to be an artist was cartoons. I’d wake up early every saturday to watch cartoons and dream of one day making one myself! Finishing my senior thesis film was one of the best experiences of my life. Working on a team and seeing the final result came with the most amazing satisfaction. Our film Galaxy Girl, in which I was the art director, has been in nearly 20 festivals and has even won an award.
Outside of art, my hobbies include traveling, cooking, sewing, textile design, and thrift shopping. If I wasn’t an artist, I’d probably want to be in fashion design, which I do on the side for myself anyways! I love having a unique and colorful look. As far as travel goes, so far I’ve been to Japan, France, Spain, Canada, and the Bahamas. I can’t wait to go on more adventures and continue to be inspired by new cultures!View Full Bio
