Teodora Oprea is a freelance children’s illustrator living in Oradea, Romania. After studying Design at the local University, she started out as a graphic designer in 2012, but discovered she had a different calling when she got a job at a game company, designing games for little girls. Since then, she has used her skills to illustrate books and products for the youngest of audience. She works digitally, in Adobe Illustrator, using soft shapes and bold colors, and always begins sketching the first drafts with pencil on paper. Although she lives near Transylvania, her affinities are far from frightening: she loves creating cute and charming worlds, full of joyful characters, to bring smiles to the faces of kids and adults alike. In her free time, she enjoys walking around her hometown, admiring the buildings and trees, going to concerts and meeting up with friends.View Full Bio
