Jim has been producing commercial illustration work for many years. He has been an associate member of the Guild of Aviation Artists, and illustrated several books with aviation themes. He has also produced illustrations for marine and military books, architectural work and illustrations for packaging. Jim has combined his practical design career with a successful career as a senior lecturer at an art college in Somerset. The areas of his work expanded through the 1990s and up to the present day to include many jigsaws, children’s books, greetings cards ,calendars and reference books on military uniforms.
