Simji is from South Korea, now based in London and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. After she finished her study at the Royal College of Art, she started her professional illustrator career since 2017. She awarded 1st prize of children's illustration at FAB Prize by Faber and Faber in 2019. Simji creates comfort illustrations with pencils and watercolour for children's books alongside digital animation. She loves drinking tea and wandering in the park in search of the weight of the sky.
