Nathalia is a children’s book illustrator from sunny Dominican Republic, currently working from her home studio in Santo Domingo alongside her dog Mimi. She has been drawing and painting since she was a kid and still remembers her first sketchbook. Animals, trees, walks down the river, starry skies and many fantastic and spooky stories used to and still continue to enrich her style. She got her first job as an in-house illustrator at a local editorial agency and worked there for a year. Graduating from university she decided to start her journey as a freelance illustrator and since then she has had the pleasure to work with amazing authors, brands and companies. When she’s not illustrating Nathalia usually spends her days watching tv shows, playing video games, cooking and baking, taking naps with her dog or hanging out with friends.
