Have a look at more of his edgy comic book illustration work here on his online portfolio. I was born in 1962, June 6th in Riccione, a little touristic town on the Italian east coast. I lived in Ravenna where I studied ( Art School and Graphic Design and Illustration School ) and where I had my first Studio. Then I lived 10 years in Milan, and now in Rimini where I work, near the sea. When I was three years old my left leg was broken and my mother bought me 2 comics, "Mickey Mouse" and "Tex". These were the cause of my future carrer. I started to draw very soon and when I was 10 I knew that I would become an illustrator. The most important influences came from the artists of Marvel Comics Group of the '70ies, over all Jim Steranko and Barry-Windsor Smith. Usually, when I begin a new work I need silence and quiet, to study and to sketch, but then I need rhythm! In my soundtrack there are Punk and English New Wave, but also Frank Zappa, Kraftwerk and Pizzicato Five and...Lady Gaga! The modern love pop songs are not present in my I-pod! I exposed my artworks in many exhibitions, mainly in Italy, but also in Paris and Taiwan. In 2012 I win the race for the design of the new logo for the 90th birthday of the Common of Riccione. My best works are the creation of graphic design and illustrated covers for a Fantasy novel series named "History of Dragons, Wizards and Warriors". I also love a series of black and white erotic illustrations ( "Welcome to the Pleasure Dome" ) that I exposed in Rimini in 1998 and that changed in best way my carrer. When I don't work I love to look movies ( Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrik, Ridley Scott ... ) and also TV series as "24", "Luther", "Misfits", "True Blood"...and also video-clip. I love spend my time on the beach. I love summer and beach lifestyle. Really, If I were not an illustrator I would have been a lifeguard on the beach!
