Hi there, I am Anna, a freelance children’s illustrator based in Sopot, Poland. I graduated with a degree in literature in Gdańsk, then spent 10 years in Italy before moving back to my hometown with my husband, daughter, and our dog.
I have illustrated children’s books for publishing companies around the world, including in Poland, Italy, France, and the UK. In my work, I try to capture the joyful and heartfelt moments of everyday life. The vibrant colour palettes I curate for my work are inspired by the world around me—seasonal vegetables and flowers, secondhand porcelain, my dog’s fur, and more. I love working with both traditional techniques, coloured pencils and watercolours, and digital mediums.
