Ashley is a Bristol-based illustrator and pattern designer. After earning her degree in illustration from the University of the West of England, she worked in-house within the gift industry, specializing in fun, vibrant packaging illustration—from initial sketches to full production. This hands-on experience honed her skills in turning concepts into products that spark joy. She is passionate about bringing playful, uplifting creations to life.
Since branching out as a freelance designer, she has explored a variety of creative avenues, including greeting card design, enamel pins, poster illustration and more. Her work is characterized by a sense of fun and lightheartedness, always aiming to bring a smile to people's faces. Whether it’s an intricate pattern or a quirky character, she strives to make every design feel personal and full of life.
Ashley is constantly drawing inspiration from everyday moments, whether she's out exploring or immersed in her role as a mum. Her son’s imagination and the continual search for playful books and clothes for him have opened up a whole new world of creative ideas.
When starting a new project, you’ll find her sketching with her pencil and brush pen, blending the natural, organic lines with crisp vector elements to create something truly unique.
