Hello! I'm Danielle Arrington, a digital illustrator from Hampton Roads, Virginia, known for my fun and expressive style using soft colors. Passionate about storytelling and literacy, I made a bold decision to leave a toxic job that stifled my creativity, embarking on a journey to reclaim my joy through illustration.

One of my favorite projects to date is "My Hair is My Friend," where I transformed personal struggles into empowering narratives for the next generation. I have a BFA in Drawing and Design from Old Dominion University, but my artistic journey began long before formal education. I've been making art my whole life. Clients appreciate my flexibility, humor in character expressions, and inclusive approach to diversity in my art. From initial sketches to final details, I work closely with clients to ensure their vision comes to life authentically.

My love for art was nurtured by my mother, who fostered a home filled with artistic exploration. We were always crafting, painting, and drawing. I even got to draw on the walls as a kid. When I'm not creating, you'll find me enjoying Sundays with my husband and energetic toddler, embracing the chaos of parenthood with music, dance, and a big pancake breakfast! Ultimately, I aspire to be remembered not only for my art, but as a kind-hearted individual dedicated to spreading joy through creativity.
