Winner of the XXVI 8M Poster Contest in the city of Avilés Mar 07 2025

Advocate's wonderful artist Cinthya Álvarez has won the XXVI 8M Poster Competition in the city of Avilés, Spain for her piece, The Future is Ours. The work represents the strength and unity of women mobilized in defense of their freedoms and rights. The composition was inspired by the famous painting The Fourth Estate by Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo (1901).

Cinthya Álvarez is an illustrator from Asturias, in the north of Spain. She's passionate about fantasy, nature, and countless other things! Since she graduated in Graphic Design and Illustration, Cinthya has worked on a variety of projects, becoming a very versatile artist. When she's not drawing, you'll find her tracking down old postcards, reading vampire stories, or hanging out with her friends.
