Hi there! I'm Jaime Cromer, a vibrant artist with roots in the Midwest, a Seattle stint, and now calling Cherry Hill, NJ, home. My art is a playful blend of hand-painted charm and digital wizardry, using a mix of gouache, colored pencils, inks, and even tissue paper. Colors are my forte, and I love dabbling in various styles, drawing inspiration from nature, my past life as a touring musician, and a deep passion for social causes.
Having illustrated two books, including a quirky non-alcoholic cocktail guide and the whimsical children's tale, Sweet Dreams, I find immense joy in crafting designs that captivate hearts. The cocktail book was a labor of love, pushing me creatively, but the satisfaction was worth it. With a keen eye for beautiful color palettes and a knack for infusing humor into my work, I thrive on the challenge of delivering designs that resonate with audiences and evoke smiles.
Immersed in mid-century modern illustrations and influenced by the legendary Mary Blair, I find solace in the nostalgia of storybook art. Travel fuels my creativity, but on quiet days, a nature walk suffices. Balancing family time, weekend pop-up art sales, and culinary adventures with my daughter, son, and the mischievous cat, GoGo, I strive to spread kindness through art, always aiming to bring a splash of color and joy to people's lives.
