Hello! I'm Małgorzata, or Gosia for short. Originally from a small town in eastern Poland, I now reside in vibrant Warsaw, making the world more colorful with my playful and nostalgic illustrations. Drawing on digital mediums with a touch of realism, I love adding handmade textures to my work for an extra depth. My style has evolved over the years into a unique blend of color, shape, and texture, inspired by childhood memories to infuse a sense of wonder into every piece. My off-screen time is spent exploring the tangible side of creativity with brush, paper, or clay, and connecting with nature through walks and cycling.
Throughout my career, brands like Asus and LG have featured my work in their Poland campaigns. Children learning from books I’ve illustrated for Jeronimo Martin's educational project, and a children's hospital in Białystok wearing my art on its front wall, are testaments to the variety in my portfolio. Appreciated for exploring different themes in a playful, yet realistic manner, my clients seem to truly connect with my distinct use of color and life-like characters. I owe this success to my background in costume design, a thirst for continuous growth through online courses, reading, and relentless practice, and a comprehensive, collaborative approach to each project.
Behind the illustrative hues, a regular day for me includes quiet time with family, including a teenage daughter and a cocker spaniel, and finding joy in simple pleasures, like reading, cooking, and watching movies. Much of my inspiration comes from the limitless creativity of childhood, combined with the influence of mid-century illustration and classic animation masters. My ultimate aspiration? To leave a lasting legacy as someone whose illustrations sparked joy, curiosity, and imagination - not just in children, but in adults as well.
