Mikki studied Graphic Design at Blackpool College of Art & design, and then worked as a senior artist for a card company before freelancing. Working from her home studio she concentrates on greetings cards and book illustration, her first book commission was the Bible for toddlers which was a challenge, but a fantastic job to work on. Mikki had the perfect opportunity to work on a 4 book series for an Australian publisher about the adventures of a little girl and her best friend Pickle – a grizzly bear.
