Drawing from my BA HONS Degree in Graphic Design and over a decade of experience in children's publishing, I bring a unique perspective to my projects, especially my charming greeting card designs. My illustration style is versatile, but for book projects, I prefer a loose, sketchy approach that captures an offbeat, quirky charm, focusing on wonky buildings and unusual characters to create a whimsical world.
Growing up loving cartoon-style graphic novels like Garfield, I find inspiration in the styles of cartoons such as Apple and Onion and The Amazing World Of Gumball. When I'm not creating, you can find me at my favorite bookshop, Waterstones in Piccadilly London, savoring a roast with red wine during family movie nights. Ultimately, my passion lies in making people smile, a sentiment echoed in my art. With a bustling household of two kids, two cats, and a dog, my life is as colorful and lively as my creations, always striving to spread joy through my whimsical and fun-filled illustrations.
