Hi, I'm Pipi, although my mom named me Claudio at birth. But I adopted this nickname as my artistic name! Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I moved to Carapachay after getting married. My style is defined by the humor I incorporate into my work, inspired by the cartoons I enjoyed as a child. I believe in the diversity and imperfection of characters, reflecting humanity in my illustrations. Music, especially 70s progressive rock, accompanies me in every stroke, from Zappa for crazy moments to Jean-Michel Jarre for otherworldly ones.

Despite my limited participation in competitions, I've been honored with awards that make me proud. At Tecnópolis 2016, I won first place for my caricature of Sigmund Freud, and the award for best adult comic for "Barrio Gris" in 2015. My passion for comics drives me to tell stories in panels, and I long for the challenge of creating a graphic novel. My efficiency, creativity, and humorous contributions are recognized." In every project, I praise the vibrancy of my characters and their expressions, which, though they may make me blush, convey unique stories.

My roots in childhood comics and the influences of Crumb and Will Eisner have shaped my art. I work from a studio with a plant-filled patio, my refuge for inspiration. I enjoy trips with my wife to quiet towns and binge-watching series at home. I dream that my drawings will endure in the memories of children and adults, being fondly remembered in the future. My passion for telling stories through my illustrations is intertwined with my desire to leave a lasting mark on the art world.
