Susan Deming is an illustrator based in San Francisco. Since graduating from UC Davis with a B.A. in art studio, Susan has been working in the arts. Susan’s favorite books are science or nature nonfiction and nature field guides. When she is not at her desk, you can find Susan taking long walks in the hills surrounding her home. Susan has dedicated the past few years to growing native plants and has been very excited to see the incredible variety of native bees that now visit her flowers
