Hey there, I'm Sypha Vendez, a Barcelona-based artist known for my colourful and textured creations. My work is a vibrant fusion of expressive brush markings, reflecting my playful approach to art. Embracing a style that lets me push boundaries and experiment with different techniques, I draw inspiration from my travels. For me, art is about expanding horizons and finding beauty in the small things.
One of my personal favorite folio pieces is my white tiger illustration. I hope to give him a captivating story one day. With a background in Illustration from university, I bring a blend of formal training and innate creativity to my artistic process. To stay focused and inspired, I even create hand-drawn colour palettes to help with my process.
I am a self-proclaimed accidental artist with my journey beginning in an extra high school art class that I joined reluctantly with my friend. However, I quickly found myself with a growing passion for creating art. When I'm not immersed in my drawings, you can find me relaxing on my balcony, overlooking the gardens below. Weekends are dedicated to another form of creativity - cooking and baking! Through my art and everyday life, I try to bring colour and fun to my little world.
