Hello! I'm Teodora Oprea, an artist based in Oradea, Romania. My signature style consists of graphic, flat designs, with soft shapes and bold colors, and minimal ink lines. I specialize in creating cute characters in vibrant, joyful worlds, bringing these lovable anthropomorphized animals to life using vectors in Adobe Illustrator. Although the final artwork is created digitally, I always start with sketches on paper. This allows me to unleash ideas quickly without getting distracted by details too soon.
Being a graduate in Design from the local University, I began my journey as a graphic designer, and later pivoted naturally and gradually to illustration. My artistic journey is influenced by nostalgic memories of 90's cartoons like Sailor Moon and Disney classics. Growing up surrounded by these enchanting animations fueled my passion for creating whimsical and charming characters. Drawing inspiration from nature walks and the Art Nouveau architecture of my hometown, I infuse my art with a delightful blend of nostalgia and contemporary flair, capturing the essence of my colorful and imaginative world.
