Hello! I'm Valeria Issa, an Italian country girl turned city artist now based in London. My art is a vibrant blend of humor, colour, and whimsy, often featuring anthropomorphic animals inspired by my love for real-life furballs! I care deeply about animal welfare, women's rights, and the environment, believing in the importance of caring for each other and our planet. Living abroad has enriched my perspective, allowing me to see the world differently and capture this in my work.

My art is a playful dance between traditional sketching and digital magic. I like the feeling of pencil on paper, keeping things loose and messy to draft out the scene. Though of course I also take full advantage of the amazing digital tools we have today! With a background in character animation I bring humor and lively interactions to my work. I love creating pieces that charm and captivate through quirky characters and colourful scenes. I collaborate closely with my clients, bringing each project a touch of humor and personality.

Drawing inspiration from the cartoons of the '90s as well as my habit of people watching in everyday life, my work has taken on its own style. When I'm not immersed in my art, you'll find me unwinding by reading, gaming, or painting. My ultimate dream? To leave behind a legacy of artwork that resonates with children much like the memories of my own early life. And yes, a future filled with a small army of cats awaits. Which i'm sure will not distract me at all!
