Take a look at today’s artist feature, Timothy Hustache, here at Advocate Art! We love the delicate characters he creates with his beautiful colour palette and textures. I was born in the West Midlands in 1970 where I grew up and studied for a degree in Visual Communication at Wolverhampton University. I was always drawing from a very early age and I have never forgotten what a privilege it is to be able to create for a living. My artwork is always initially hand drawn and then colours and textures are added digitally. I think my work is at its best when I am able to express the childlike side of my nature. I feel it is important to still retain a sense of wonder in life (especially if you illustrate!). If I wasn’t designing or illustrating then I would be a songwriter. Also working in the theatre or fashion industry would appeal…anywhere where you can get paid to dream or imagine for a living!
