Tim Martyn has worked as a freelance designer and illustrator for over twenty years. He lives in rural Warwickshire with a cushion-eating spaniel. His house is built almost entirely from books and pencils (or at least that's how it feels).

His influences include Maurice Sendak, Tove Jansson, Charles Schultz and Terry Gilliam. In 2013 he worked with Templar Publishing to produce his first book for children, 'Story Town'.
