I am Jim Mitchell and I've been producing commercial illustrations for many years. I've also produced illustrations for aviation, marine and military books, architectural work and packaging. Combining my practical design career with my senior lecturer career at an art college, I've expanded my areas of work to include jigsaws, children's books, greeting cards, calendars and reference books on military uniforms. I like to work in water based colours, watercolour and gouache, building with colour pencils and pastels.
