Hello, I am David Kristian Thio. I was born in Cianjur, Indonesia, and I’m inspired by the mix of cultures and mythologies from my hometown. I love illustrating stories that introduce these cultures, as well as fantasy tales. After graduating in 2014, I worked as a t-shirt designer and caricature artist before becoming a children's book illustrator in 2017. Since then, I have illustrated 17 books. I am also a content creator on YouTube with my channel, Dilectum.
