Hello there! I'm Paula Zamudio, an artist from a small city in Mexico. My digital creations are a mix of texture and color, drawing inspiration from nature, culture, and fantasy. When I'm not immersed in my art, you can find me playing obscure videogames, reading comics, and reading about art history. My fascination with past time periods and mythologies fuels my creativity and adds layers to my work that resonate with many.
Having had the privilege to collaborate with prestigious names like Penguin Random House and National Geographic, I've honed my craft to be both versatile and impactful. Known for my agreeable nature and ability to incorporate feedback, I take pride in being responsible and dedicated to every project I undertake. My academic background in graphic design, followed by a master's degree in Illustration, has equipped me with a keen sense of color, character interaction, and gesture. I believe in immersing myself in the narrative behind the art to ensure every element is thoughtfully crafted.
When I'm not busy creating, I find solace in the simple joys of life. Drawing inspiration from picture books, old movies, and animation, I often venture into nature or explore little towns brimming with culture. Relaxing moments are spent in the company of my cats and dog, indulging in videogames, and unwinding with the classics. For me, art is not just a profession but a way of life-a journey filled with exploration, storytelling, and a deep appreciation for the world around us.
